It is a 38.5 mm dog bone, which is 1 mm shorter than the industry standard (39.5 mm), and is used to ensure that the joint cup has the correct clearance when the gap between the inner suspensions is reduced using the suspension mount setting.
Standard uses the suspension mount B at the front, but depending on the circumstance, using the suspension mount A, reducing the front to a thin tread, or reducing the distance between the suspension pins, a thicker wheel hub was changed to maintain the tread width. We could prepare to increase the scrub radius.
Use this short dog bone to assure clearance because in all situations the entire suspension arm, including the universal shaft, turns inward. In rare cases, this can cause interference with the back of the joint cup when the suspension is operating.
